The Bmw great sports car 8 series in its first generation, was manufactured for 10 years (1989-1999), there were different versions for several countries, it is a sports coupe with 4 seats (2 + 2), was a success for the brand since a total of 30,621 units were sold. During that decade there were several important tuners, but Alpina, the company also located in Germany, is one of the most recognized and decided to give it its personal touch.
In its outward appearance, the front bumper includes underneath a discreet lip with the ALPINA nomenclature along with thin horizontal lines in silver or gold that extended to the sides, air vents in the hood that helped to better dissipate the heat of the engine, on the grill carries some emblems called B12_5.0 or B12_5.7 (depending on the version), in the rear part, an air diffuser stands out, together with double chrome exhaust vents on both sides. The wheels are 18 inches mounted on tires 245/40 front and 285/35 rear.
In the interior, the B12 did not have many significant changes, however highlights sports seats covered in black leather of premium quality that have in the center a line of blue and green stitching, combined with a set of floor mats, the central instrument panel comes with wooden details as the gear lever, the cluster comes with a bluish background and the three-spoke sports steering wheel carries the emblem with the shield of the Bavarian house.
For the Performance, there were 2 engine versions: The first was the 850i that consists of a V12 of 5.0 lts that generates 345 HP (of the original 300 HP of Factory) starts from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 173 mph (280 km/h). The second even more extreme version was the 850CSi that also mounted a V12 but 5.7 lts. able to develop 410 HP (374 HP original factory) with output from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.8 seconds and reached up to 186 mph (300 km/h) of maximum speed.
