During the 2017 Geneva Motor Show the AC Schnitzer company, specialist in modifying Bmw cars, presented the ACL2S, a very aggressive and extreme modification of the M240i, this is a reason to commemorate the 30 years of the company and that only 30 units are manufactured, It is cataloged automatically by a collection vehicle.
For its Exterior image, it was adapted an aerodynamic kit which includes 10 new pieces, including that front and rear bumpers, a splitter, some canards, some new housings for the mirrors and two types of ailerons, one type lip adapted to the shape of the boot and another type spoiler to GT style. All these components are manufactured in Carbon Fiber. It also has a suspension adjustable in height and as an option you can choose a 19-inch wheels brand OZ Superforgiata alloy or a 20-inch Hurricane RR brand.
Inside, we can see some new Recaro racing seats covered in leather in two colors, a sportier three-spoke steering wheel with better grip that includes F1 paddle changes, accelerator pedals, brake and footrest are made of aluminum. The handbrake lever and the carpets are also personalized with the ACS logo.
The Bmw M240i factory assembles a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine capable of producing 335 HP and 368 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the modification of the ECU and a new complete exhaust system, AC Schnitzer managed to get 395 HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. These figures put it almost on par with a Bmw M2.
